François in a few words

François settled in Plaine des Cafres 25 years ago to devote himself to his passion: working wood and showcasing local species. For him, it matters that these skills live on; he keeps this rare craft alive and has made passing it on the heart of his work. When introducing curious visitors to it, François shares much more than a technique: he passes on the pride and joy of creating a wooden object with your own hands.
